Dinesh Nair, also known as Dinesh Prabhakar, is an Indian actor who predominantly works in the Malayalam film industry. He also works in Tamil and Hindi films. He started his film career as a dubbing artist for many popular Ad films. In the Malayalam versions, he provided the voice of Sharukh Khan , Aamir Khan , and Amitabh Bachchan in the majority of the well-known advertisements. He made his film acting debut with the Malayalam movie Meesa Madhavan in 2002, starring Dileep and Indrajith Sukumaran .
Dinesh Prabhakar debuted in Hindi with the movie Madras Cafe in 2013, starring John Abraham , Nargis Fakhri , and Raashii Khanna . He is considered the first casting director of the Malayalam film industry. He debuted in Tamil with the movie Solo in 2017, starring Dulquer Salmaan . He also appeared in the TV series The Family Man in 2019.
He was born in 1977 (age 49 years) to Prabhakaran Nair and Sarojini Amma in Perumbavoor , Ernakulam , Kerala , India . He did his schooling at Jayakeralam School, Pulluvazhy, Kerala. Then he did his higher studies at Sree Sankara College, Kalady, Kerala. He married Sreerekha. They have a daughter, Vibha.
