Dulquer Salmaan (DQ) is an Indian actor, playback singer, and producer who works in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi entertainment industries. He is the youngest son of actor Mammootty. He made his acting debut with the Malayalam movie Second Show in 2012, co-starring Sunny Wayne. He debuted in Tamil with the movie Vaayai Moodi Pesavum in 2014, along with Nazriya Nazim. He debuted in Telugu with the movie Mahanati in 2018, starring Keerthy Suresh. Karwaan (2018) was his Hindi debut film.

He also appears in the Hindi TV series Guns & Gulaabs in 2023 on Netflix. Dulquer Salmaan known for his roles in Ustad Hotel (2012), ABCD (2013), Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi (2013), Vaayai Moodi Pesavum (2014), Bangalore Days (2014), Vikramadithyan (2014), O Kadhal Kanmani (2015), Charlie (2015), Kali (2016), Kammatti Paadam (2016), Jomonte Suvisheshangal (2017), Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal (2020), Kurup (2021), Sita Ramam (2022) and Lucky Baskhar (2024). In 2021, he received a UAE Golden Visa.

He was born on 28 July 1986 (age 39 years) to actor Mammootty and Sulfath Kutty in Kochi, Kerala, India. He has an elder sister, Kutty Surumi. He did his schooling at Toc-H Public School, Vyttila, Kochi, Ernakulam, and Sishya School, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, United States. He attended a three-month course at the Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai. He married architect Amal Sufiya on 22 December 2011. The couple has a daughter, Maryam Ameerah Salmaan, born on 5 May 2017.
