Baburaj Jacob, mononymously known as Baburaj, is an Indian actor, director, and producer who mainly works in the Malayalam film industry. He also appeared in a few Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu films. He made his acting debut with the Malayalam movie Beeshmacharyara in 1994, starring Manoj K. Jayan and Siddique. He made his debut in Tamil with the movie Jaya in 2002. Hulchul (2004) was his Hindi film debut. He made his directorial debut with the Malayalam movie Black Dalia in 2009. After starring in the Malayalam movie Salt N’ Pepper (2011), he transitioned to comedic and character roles. He debuted in Telugu with the movie Kingdom in 2025, starring Vijay Deverakonda, Satyadev, Bhagyashri Borse, and Venkitesh V. P.

He was born on 05 March 1970 (age 56 years) in Aluva, Kerala, India. He studied at Union Christian College, Aluva, and Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam. He completed his Master of Laws from the Government Law College, Ernakulam. He married twice. He has two sons from his first marriage. He married actress Vani Viswanath in 2002. He has four children, Abhay, Akshay, Aarcha, and Adhri.
