Sasikumar Mahalingam, also known as M Sasikumar, is an Indian Actor, director, and producer mainly in the Tamil entertainment industry. He worked as an assistant director for director Bala and Ameer Sultan. He made his Tamil debut with the movie Subramaniapuram in 2008, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Tamil, Filmfare Best Tamil Director Award, and Vijay Award for Best Director. He made his Malayalam debut with the movie Masters in 2012, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran. He is well known for his roles in Sundarapandian (2012), Vetrivel (2016), Kidaari (2016), Asuravadham (2018), Petta (2019), Ayodhi (2023), Garudan (2024), and Nandhan (2024).

He was born on 28 September 1974 (age 51 years) in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. He studied at St. Peter’s School, Kodaikanal. He completed his Degree in business administration from Vellaichamy Nadar College, Madurai.
