Rachitha Mahalakshmi is an Indian actress who works in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu television and film industries and the Malayalam television industry. She was also a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6. She made her acting debut with the Kannada TV serial Megha Mandala in 2007 on Asianet Kannada. She made her movie debut with the Kannada movie Gani in 2010. She debuted her Tamil TV serial with the serial Pirivom Santhippom in 2011 on Vijay TV, and her Malayalam debut was Avakashikal in 2013 on Surya TV.

Swathi Chinukulu was her Telugu debut TV serial on ETV Telugu in 2013. She made her Tamil movie debut with the movie Uppu Karuvadu in 2015, and Thalli Manasu was her Telugu movie debut. She is well known for the lead role of Meenatchi in Saravanan Meenatchi, which was aired on Star Vijay. Since then, she has also recognized as Meenatchi.

She was born on 24 April 1991 (age 35 years) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. She studied at New Carmel English School, Bengaluru, Karnataka. She did her higher studies at Seshadripuram Composite PU College, Bengaluru, and Seshadripuram Law College, Bengaluru. She married actor Dinesh Gopalsamy.
