Asha Sharath is an Indian actress and classical dancer who predominantly works in the Malayalam film and television industry. She also appeared in a few Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu films. She made her film acting debut with the Malayalam movie Friday (2012), starring Fahadh Faasil. She appeared in the television serials Jathaka Kathakal and Mikhayelinte Santhathikal. She is well known for her roles as Jayanthi Prabhakaran in Kumkumapoovu (2011-2014) and IG Geetha Prabhakar in Drishyam (2013).

She debuted in Kannada with the movie Drishya (2014) and in Tamil with the movie Papanasam (2015). Both movies are remakes of the Malayalam movie Drishyam (2013). She debuted in Telugu with the movie Cheekati Rajyam (2015), starring Kamal Haasan, Prakash Raj, Trisha, and Kishore.

She was born on 19 July 1975 (age 50 years) to V.S.Krishnan Kutty Nair and Kalamandalam Sumathy in Perumbavoor, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. She studied at Marthoma College, Perumbavoor, Kerala, and Sree Sankara College, Kalady, Kerala. She married Sharath Varier. They have two daughters, Uthara and Keerthana.
