Fahadh Fazil aka Fahadh Faasil is an Indian actor and producer who primarily works in Malayalam cinema. He has also made a few appearances in Tamil and Telugu movies. At the age of 20, he made his acting debut in his father Fazil’s critically and financially unsuccessful love comedy Kaiyethum Doorath. After a 7-year break, He returned to the anthology movie Kerala Cafe in 2009. His portrayal of Arjun in the 2011 thriller Chaappa Kurishu brought him to the public’s attention. He has appeared in more than 50 films and won numerous honors, including three Filmfare Awards South, four Kerala State Film Awards, and a National Film Award.
He was born on 08 August 1982 in Alappuzha, Kerala, India. He is the son of film director Fazil and his wife Rozina. He has a brother, Farhaan, who is also an actor, as well as two sisters, Ahameda and Fatima. He completed his schooling at SDV Central School Alappuzha, Lawrence School Ooty, and Choice School Tripunithura. After graduating from Sanatana Dharma College in Alleppey, he continued his education by earning an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Miami in the United States. He marrired Malayalam film actress Nazriya Nazim on 21 August 2014.
