Selvaraghavan Kasthuri Raja, also known as Selvaraghavan, is an Indian director, screenwriter, and actor who has worked in Tamil and a few Telugu films. He had his directorial debut with the Tamil movie Thulluvadho Ilamai in 2002. He also directed hit films Kadhal Kondein (2003), 7G Rainbow Colony (2004), Pudhupettai (2006), Mayakkam Enna (2011), Aayirathil Oruvan (2010), and Irandam Ulagam (2013). He made his acting debut with the Tamil movie Beast in 2022.
He was born on 05 March 1977 (age 49 years) to director Kasthuri Raja and Vijayalakshmi in Theni, Tamil Nadu, India. He has a brother, Dhanush, an actor, and two sisters, Karthika Devi and K. Vimala Geetha. He married actress Sonia Agarwal, with whom he had worked on three films before, on December 15, 2006. On August 9, 2009, they filed for a mutually acceptable divorce. He married Gitanjali Raman on 19 June 2011, daughter of former Advocate General of Tamil Nadu, P. S. Raman. They have three children, Leelavathi, Omkaar, and Rishikesh.
