Sonia Agarwal is an Indian actress who works in the Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam entertainment industries. She made her acting debut with the Telugu movie Nee Premakai in 2002, and the same year, she debuted in Kannada with the movie Chandu. She made her Tamil movie debut with the movie Kaadhal Kondein in 2003, for which she won the ITFA Best New Actress Award. In 2008 She debuted on Tamil TV in the serial Naanal on Kalaignar TV. She debuted in Malayalam with the movie Gruhanathan in 2012. She is well known for her roles in Kaadhal Kondein (2003), 7G Rainbow Colony (2004), and Pudhupettai (2006).

She was born on 28 March 1982 (age 44 years) to Ashok Naval and Seema Agarwal in Chandigarh, India. She has a brother named Saurabh Agarwal. In December 2006, she married Selvaraghavan, a director in Tamil cinema. They divorced in 2010.
