Ghanta Naveen Babu, known professionally as Nani, is an Indian actor and producer who mainly works in the Telugu film industry and appeared in a few Tamil films. He made his acting debut with the Telugu movie Ashta Chamma in 2008. He debuted in Tamil with the movie Veppam in 2011. He won two Nandi Awards, three Filmfare Awards South, and four South Indian International Movie Awards. He produced his first film D for Dopidi in 2013. He launched his own production house, Wall Poster Cinema, in 2018, which has produced Awe (2018), HIT: The First Case (2020), and HIT: The Second Case (2022).

He hosted the second season of the Telugu reality show Bigg Boss in 2018. He is well known for his roles in Pilla Zamindar (2011), Eega (2012), Yevade Subramanyam (2015), Bhale Bhale Magadivoy (2015), Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha (2016), Gentleman (2016), Majnu (2016), Nenu Local (2017), Ninnu Kori (2017), Middle Class Abbayi (2017), Jersey (2019), Nani’s Gang Leader (2019), Shyam Singha Roy (2021), Ante Sundaraniki (2022), Dasara (2023), Hi Nanna (2023), and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram (2024).

He was born on 24 February 1984 (age 42 years) to Rambabu Ghanta and Vijayalakshmi Ghanta in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He has a sister named Deepthi Ganta. He studied at St. Alphonsa’s High School, Hyderabad. He graduated from Wesley Degree College, Secunderabad. He married Anjana Yelavarthy on 27 October 2012. They have a son, Arjun.
