Raj Kumar Yadav, also known as Rajkummar Rao, is an Indian actor who mainly works in the Hindi entertainment industry. He made his acting debut with the Hindi film Love Sex Aur Dhokha in 2010. He appeared in the TV series Bose: Dead/Alive in 2017 on ALTBalaji and Guns & Gulaabs in 2023 on Netflix. He is well known for his roles in Talaash (2012), Kai Po Che! (2013), Shahid (2013), Queen (2014), Aligarh (2016), Trapped (2016), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Newton (2017), Stree (2018), Ludo (2020), Badhaai Do (2022), Monica, O My Darling (2022), HIT: The First Case (2022), Srikanth (2024), Mr. & Mrs. Mahi (2024) and Stree 2 (2024).

He was born on 31 August 1984 (age 41 years) to Satya Prakash Yadav, a government employee in the Haryana Revenue Department, and Kamlesh Yadav in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. He studied at S.N. Sidheshwar Senior. Sec Public School, Gurgaon. He graduated from Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, New Delhi. He enrolled in a two-year acting course at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, Maharashtra. He began dating actress Patralekha Paul in 2010. They married on 15 November 2021 in Chandigarh.
