Sanya Malhotra is an Indian actress who works mainly in the Hindi entertainment industry. She made her acting debut with the Hindi movie Dangal in 2016, for which she won the Jackie Chan Action Movie Award for Best New Action Performer. She is well known for her roles in Badhaai Ho (2018), Photograph (2019), Ludo (2020), Shakuntala Devi (2020), Pagglait (2021), Love Hostel (2022), HIT: The First Case (2022), Jawan (2023), and Sam Bahadur (2023). She won the 2023 Filmfare OTT Awards for Best Actress and Iconic Gold Awards for Best Actress for the movie Kathal in 2023.

She was born on 25 February 1992 (age 34 years) to Sunil Malhotra and Renu Malhotra in Delhi, India. She has a sister named Shagun Malhotra. She studied at Ryan International School, New Delhi. She graduated from Gargi College, New Delhi.
