Wamiqa Gabbi is an Indian actress who has appeared in the Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam entertainment industries. She made her acting debut in 2007 with the Hindi movie Jab We Met. She debuted in Punjabi with the movie Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22 in 2013. Bhale Manchi Roju (2015) was her Telugu debut. She debuted in Tamil with the movie Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam in 2016. In Malayalam, she made her acting debut with the movie Godha in 2017.

Her TV series debut was Grahan on Disney+ Hotstar in 2021. She won Filmfare OTT Awards for Best Supporting Actor in a Web Original Film (Female) for the Hindi movie Khufiya in 2024.

She was born on 29 September 1993 (age 32 years) in Chandigarh, India. Her father, Govardhan Gabbi, is an author who writes in Hindi and Punjabi and uses Gabbi as a pseudonym. Her mother is Raj Kumari. She studied at St Xavier’s School, Chandigarh. She completed her graduation from DAV College, Chandigarh.
