Janhvi Kapoor

Janhvi Kapoor is an Indian actress who works in Hindi and Telugu film industry. She debuted as an actress in the commercially successful romance film Dhadak in 2018. The roles she played in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (2020) as the title character and as a lady stuck in a freezer in Mili (2022) got her nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. Devara: Part 1 was her first Telugu Movie.

She was born on 06 March 1997 (age 27 years) to film producer Boney Kapoor and actress Sridevi in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her younger sister, Khushi, is also an actress. She has two half-siblings from her father’s first marriage: Arjun (an actor) and Anshula Kapoor. She did her schooling at Ecole Mondiale World School, Mumbai, Maharashtra. She completes her acting course at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in California.
