Vinay Forrt

Vinay Kumar, better known as Vinay Forrt, is an Indian actor who works mainly in the Malayalam film industry. He made his acting debut with the Malayalam movie Ritu in 2009. He won the 18th Asianet Film Awards for Best Comedian and the 5th South Indian International Movie Award for Best Comedian -Malayalam in 2016. He is well known for his roles in Theevram (2012), Shutter (2012), 7th Day (2014), Seconds (2014), Premam (2015), Urumbukal Urangarilla (2015), Kohinoor (2015), Hello Namasthe (2016), Role Models (2017), Thamaasha (2019), Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte (2020), Churuli (2021), and Somante Krithavu (2023).

He was born on 13 January 1983 (age 43 years) to M. V. Mani and Sujatha in Kochi, Kerala, India. He has a sister, Suma, and a brother, Syam. He studied at St John De Britto Anglo-Indian High School, Kochi, Kerala. He has a postgraduate degree in acting from the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune, India. He married Soumya Ravi in 2014.
