Jayasankar, also known as Kaarthik Shankar, is an Indian web series director and actor who mainly works in the Malayalam entertainment industry. He is well known for his roles in 6th Friday and Mom and Son. He made his feature movie debut with the Malayalam movie Qalb in 2024, starring Ranjith Sajeev. In 2024, he also appeared in the Malayalam movie Manas and Golam.
He was born on 11 July 1990 (age 35 years) in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India. Actress Kala Devi is his mother. He studied at CBM Higher Secondary School, Nooranad, Kerala. He has completed his BA Degree at NSS College, Pandalam.
