Hrithik Roshan is an Indian actor who works in the Hindi film industry. He is the son of film producer and director Rakesh Roshan. He has portrayed a variety of characters and is known for his dancing skills. He worked as a child actor in several films in the 1980s and later worked as an assistant director. He made his lead role debut with the Hindi movie Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai in 2000.

Hrithik Roshan is well known for his roles in Fiza (2001), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham… (2001), Koi… Mil Gaya (2003), Lakshya (2004), Krrish (2006), Dhoom 2 (2006), Jodhaa Akbar (2008), Guzaarish (2010), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), Agneepath (2012), Krrish 3 (2013), Bang Bang! (2014), Super 30 (2019), War (2019), and Fighter (2024).

He was born on 10 January 1974 (age 52 years) to film producer and director Rakesh Roshan and Pinkie Roshan in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He has a sister, Sunaina Roshan. He studied at Bombay Scottish School, Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai. He married Sussanne Khan on 20 December 2000. The couple has two sons, Hrehaan, born in 2006, and Hridhaan, born in 2008. Roshan and Sussanne separated in December 2013, and their divorce was finalised in November 2014. As of 2022, Roshan is dating actress Saba Azad.
