Divya Gopikumar, professionally known as Abhirami, is an Indian actress who works in the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada film industries. She made her acting debut with the Malayalam movie Kathapurushan in 1995 as a Child artist. She debuted in Tamil with the movie Vaanavil in 2000, starring Arjun and Prakash Raj. She debuted in Telugu with the movie Thank You Subba Rao in 2001. She debuted in Kannada with the movie Laali Haadu in 2003. She is well known for the movies Sradha (2000), Middle Class Madhavan (2001), Charlie Chaplin (2002), Raktha Kanneeru (2003), and Virumaandi (2004).

She was born on 26 July 1981 (age 44 years) to Gopikumar and Pushpa in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. She studied at Christ Nagar English High School, Thiruvananthapuram, and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram. She did her pre-degree from Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram. She graduated in psychology and communications from The College of Wooster, Ohio. She married Rahul Pavanan, grandson of writer Pavanan. The couple has an adopted daughter.
