Kavin Raj is an Indian actor who works in the Tamil entertainment industry. His first appearance on television serials was through the college version of Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, in which he appeared as Siva, one of the lead characters. He first gained recognition in the television series Saravanan Meenatchi, where he played a villain named Vettaiyan, who eventually became a hero. He is known through his participation in the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil in 2019. He made his feature movie debut with the Tamil movie Pizza in 2012 in a supporting role. He also appears in Tamil movies in a supporting role in Indru Netru Naalai (2015) and Sathriyan (2017).

His breakthrough came from acting as the lead in popular movies like Lift (2021) and Dada (2023). He also appeared in the web series Akash Vaani in 2022 on Aha. He is well known for his roles in Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma (2019), Star (2024), and Bloody Beggar (2024).

He was born on 22 June 1990 (age 35 years) in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. His father’s name is Pradeep Raj. He graduated from Loyola College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In 2003, he married Monica David.
