Neeraj Madhav, also known as NJ, is an Indian actor, rapper, and dancer who primarily works in Malayalam films. He made his acting debut with the Malayalam movie Buddy in 2013. The youthful talent began as a dancer on Amrita TV’s first season of the reality show Super Dancer, and he got to the final round. Later, he got the attention of filmmaker Jeethu Joseph, who asked him to feature in his films Drishyam and Memories, both of which became box office hits—the latter becoming the highest-grossing Malayalam movie ever.

He was born on 26 March 1990 (age 36 years) in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. His father is Dr. K. Madhavan, a veterinarian, and his mother is Latha Madhavan, a teacher. He studied at St. Joseph’s Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Calicut. He graduated in Visual Communications from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kanchipuram. Then he did post-graduation in Theatre from the School of Drama and Fine Arts, Thrissur. Navneeth Madhav, his younger brother, is also a dancer who turned actor in the family. On April 2, 2018, he wed Deepthi, his longtime partner and a Kozhikode native. In 2021, a daughter was born to the couple.
