Jaikanth Sampath (Jai Sampath), also known as Jai, is an Indian musician and actor who mainly works in Tamil films and TV series. He also appeared in a Malayalam film. He made his film acting debut with the Tamil movie Bhagavathi in 2002. He debuted as a lead role actor in the Tamil movie Subramaniapuram in 2008, starring Sasikumar. He is well-known for his roles in the Tamil movies Chennai 600028 (2007), Goa (2010), Engaeyum Eppothum (2011), and Raja Rani (2013).

He debuted as a singer in the film Jarugandi (2018). He debuted in Malayalam with the movie Madhura Raja in 2019, starring Mammootty. He made his TV series debut with the Tamil TV series Triples in 2020 on Hotstar. Then he appeared in the Tamil TV series Label in 2023 on Hotstar.

He was born on 06 April 1984 (age 42 years) to Sambath and Latha in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is the nephew of noted composer Deva & the cousin of Srikanth Deva. He studied at Lamech School, Valasaravakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completed the fifth grade in keyboard from Trinity College London.
