Trisha Krishnan, known professionally as Trisha, is an Indian actress who mainly works in the Tamil and Telugu film industries and in a few Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam films. After winning the 1999 Miss Chennai pageant, she became well-known and made her film debut. She made her acting debut with the Tamil movie Jodi in 1999 with a minor supporting role. She had her first lead role in the Tamil film Mounam Pesiyadhe in 2002. Trisha Krishnan won the Filmfare Awards South, the Tamil Nadu State Film Award, and the Nandi Award.
She debuted in Telugu with the movie Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu in 2003. With Akshay Kumar, she debuted in Hindi with the movie Khatta Meetha in 2010. She debuted in Kannada with the movie Power in 2014. In Malayalam, she made her debut with the movie Hey Jude in 2018, starring Nivin Pauly.
