Kalidas Jayaram is an Indian actor who works in the Malayalam and Tamil entertainment industries. He is the son of actors Jayaram and Parvathy Jayaram. He made his acting debut at the age of six with the Malayalam movie Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal in 2000. Then, he starred in Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum (2003), which won him the National Film Award for Best Child Artist. His Tamil debut was in the movie Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum in 2016. Then, he appeared in the Malayalam movie Poomaram in 2018. He is well known for his roles in Putham Pudhu Kaalai (2020), Paava Kadhaigal (2020), Oru Pakka Kathai (2020), Vikram (2022), Natchathiram Nagargirathu (2022), Por (2024), and Raayan (2024).
He was born on 16 December 1993 (age 32 years) to actors Jayaram and Parvathy Jayaram in Perumbavoor, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. He has a sister, Malavika Jayaram. He did his schooling at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and The Choice School, Cochin, Kerala. He got his Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He married Tarini Kalingarayar.
