Vasantha Kumar R, also known as Vasanth Ravi, is an Indian actor who works in the Tamil film industry. He made his acting debut with the movie Taramani in 2017, for which he got Best Male Actor on debut at the 2017 Ananda Vikatan Cinema Awards. He also appears in Rocky (2021), Asvins (2023), Jailer (2023), and Pon Ondru Kanden (2024).

He was born on 18 April 1990 (age 36 years) to Ravi Muthukrishnan, Chairman of the Namma Veedu Vasanta Bhavan chain of restaurants, and Swarna Ravi in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He has a brother, Anand Krishnan Ravi. He did his schooling at DMI St John’s International Residential School, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and A.M.M. School, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completed his higher studies at SRI Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and Health Care Management, Manchester, United Kingdom. He married Rishitha.
