T.R. Vijayalakshmi, also known as Viji Venkatesh, is an actress who mainly works in the Malayalam film industry. She is the Asian Regional Head of The Max Foundation. She founded Chai for Cancer in 2014, a social fundraising event where people can meet anywhere in the world over a cup of chai and talk openly about cancer without fear and stigma. She received awards for her outstanding contributions to cancer patient care. She made her acting debut with the Malayalam movie Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum in 2023, starring Fahadh Faasil. Then she appears in Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse in 2025, starring Mammootty and Gokul Suresh.
She was born on 29 July 1952 (age 73 years) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. She married Krishnaswami Venkatesh.
