Pooja Vijay, better known by her stage name Swasika (Swasika Vijay) is an Indian Actress, dancer, model, and television presenter who works mainly in the Malayalam Industry and a few Tamil and Telugu industries. Her character in Sundarapandi’s Vaigai, a love story, was based on a real person. This was her debut film. She made her Malayalam debut with Cinema Company (2012) and was the lead actress in Sajeevan Anthikkad’s Prabhuvinte Makkal in 2012. She made her Telugu movie debut with the movie Etu Chusina Nuvve in 2012. She was a host on Jeevan TV in 2014. Later, she starred in the lead part of the Mazhavil Manorama television serial Dhathuputhri. She is the presenter of Red Carpet, a celebrity guest show on Amrita TV. She started hosting the reality show Ammayum Makalum in 2023.
She was born on 05 November 1991 (age 32 years) to S. Vijayakumar Nair and Girija in Keezhillam, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. She has a brother named Akash. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature. She married Prem Jacob in 2024.
