Shriya Saran Bhatnagar, also known as Shriya Saran, is an Indian actress who mainly works in the Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi film industries. She also appeared in a few Kannada, English, and Malayalam films. She made her film acting debut with the Telugu movie Ishtam in 2001. She debuted in Hindi with the movie Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003, starring Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza. She debuted in Tamil with the movie Enakku 20 Unakku 18 in 2003, starring Tarun and Trisha.
Arasu (2007) is her Kannada film debut. She achieved further commercial success by starring in films such as Pavitra (2013) and Chandra (2013). She debuted in English with the movie The Other End of the Line in 2008. She debuted in Malayalam with the movie Pokkiri Raja in 2010, starring Mammootty and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
She was born on 11 September 1982 (age 43 years) to Pushpendra Saran Bhatnagar and Neeraja Saran Bhatnagar in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. She studied at Delhi Public School, Ranipur, Haridwar, and Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, New Delhi. She completed her graduation in literature from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi. She married her Russian boyfriend Andrei Koscheev on 19 March 2018. The couple has a daughter named Radha Saran Koscheev, born on 10 January 2021.
