Kaniha

Divya Venkata Subramaniam, better known by her stage name Kaniha, is an Indian actress who works in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam film and television industries. She made her acting debut with the Tamil movie Five Star in 2002. In 2003, she made her Telugu movie debut with the movie Ottesi Cheputunna, and Annavaru was her Kannada movie debut. She made her Malayalam movie debut with the movie Ennittum in 2006. She is well known for her roles in Bhagyadevatha (2009), Pazhassi Raja (2009), My Big Father (2009), Drona 2010 (2010), Christian Brothers (2011), Spirit (2012), Orissa (2013), and Mamangam (2019).

She was born on 03 July 1982 (age 43 years) in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. Her father, Venkata Subramaniam Iyer, was an engineer. She completed her graduate degree in mechanical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan. She married Shyam Radhakrishnan, brother of Jayashree, on 15 June 2008. They have a son, Sai Rishi, born in November 2010.
