Jyothika Sadanah, also known as Jyothika (Jyotika), is an actress and film producer who appears in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam films. She is the daughter of film producer Chander Sadanah and the wife of actor Suriya. She made her acting debut with the Hindi movie Doli Saja Ke Rakhna in 1998. She debuted in Tamil with the movie Vaali in 1999, starring Ajith Kumar and Simran. She debuted in Kannada with the movie Nagarahavu in 2002. She debuted in Telugu with the movie Tagore in 2003. She debuted in Malayalam with the movie Seetha Kalyanam in 2009.

She left the industry at the peak of her career, marrying Tamil actor Suriya. She made a comeback in the film 36 Vayadhinile (2015) for which she won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress and Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – South for the movie. Then, she appeared in a series of women-centric films like Magalir Mattum (2017), Naachiyaar (2018), Kaatrin Mozhi (2018), Raatchasi (2019), and Ponmagal Vandhal (2020). She also appeared in the Hindi TV series Dabba Cartel in 2025 on Netflix.

She was born on 18 October 1978 (age 47 years) to Chander Sadanah, a film producer, and Seema Sadanah in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Actress Nagma is her half-sister. She also has a sister, Roshini, and a brother, Suraj, who is working as an assistant director for Priyadarshan. She did her schooling at Learners’ Academy, Mumbai, Maharashtra. She graduated in Psychology from Mithibai College, Mumbai, Maharashtra. She married her longtime boyfriend, Tamil actor Suriya. They have a daughter, Diya, who was born in 2007, and a son, Dev, who was born in 2010.
