Teejay Arunasalam is a playback singer and actor of Sri Lankan Tamil origin who has worked in the Tamil film industry. After making his acting debut in the Tamil film Asuran (2019) with Dhanush, he went on to play important roles in the anthology web series Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa (2020), the movie Thatrom Thookrom (2020), and Pathu Thala (2023) with Silambarasan.
He was born on 6 January 1994 in Northolt, London Borough of Ealing, England Sri Lankan Tamil immigrants. Taking Carnatic classes and pursuing a GCSE in music technology sparked his passion for music.
