Sidharth Malhotra is an Indian actor who works in the Hindi film and television industry. He began his career as a fashion model. He started his film career as an assistant director to Karan Johar in My Name Is Khan in 2010. He made his film acting debut with the 2012 Hindi movie Student of the Year, starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. He is well known for his roles in Hasee Toh Phasee (2014), Ek Villain (2014), Kapoor & Sons (2016), A Gentleman (2017), Aiyaary (2018), Jabariya Jodi (2019), and Shershaah (2021). In addition to his acting career, he serves as the ambassador of several brands and products. He also appeared in the Hindi series Indian Police Force in 2024.

He was born on 16 January 1985 (age 41 years) into a Punjabi family, to Sunil Malhotra, a former captain in the Merchant Navy, and Rimma Malhotra in Delhi, India. He studied at Don Bosco School, Alaknanda, New Delhi, and Naval Public School, Delhi. He graduated from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, New Delhi. He married actress Kiara Advani on 07 February 2023.
