Roshan Mathew

Roshan Mathew is an Indian actor who works in the Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi entertainment industries. He began his career with numerous theatre productions in Chennai and Mumbai. He made his debut feature movie with the Malayalam movie Adi Kapyare Kootamani in 2015. He had his first major role in the film Puthiya Niyamam in 2016. Then, his career progressed with supporting roles in Aanandam (2016), Koode (2018), and Moothon (2019). He made his Hindi movie debut with the Movie Choked in 2020. He came to the Tamil film industry with the movie Cobra (2022).

He won two SIIMA Awards. He is well known for his roles in Kappela (2020), Choked (2020), C U Soon (2021), Darlings (2022), and Ulajh (2024).

He was born on 22 March 1992 (age 34 years) to Mathew Joseph, a bank manager at Canara Bank, and Regina Augustine, a retired PWD engineer in Changanassery, Kerala, India. He studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kottayam, Kerala. He completes his B.Sc in Physics at Madras Christian College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He became interested in performing during college and enrolled in the Drama School in Mumbai, Maharashtra, after graduating.
