Pranav Mohanlal is an Indian director, playback singer, and actor who works in the Malayalam film industry. He made his acting debut as a child artist with the movie Onnaman in 2002, co-starring with his father Mohanlal. In the same year, he acted in his first leading role in the movie Punarjani. His performance in this movie earned him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist. Before acting in movies like Aadhi (2018) and Hridayam (2022), he worked as an assistant director. In 2015, Papanasam and Life of Josutty were the movies he worked on as an assistant director.

He was born on 13 July 1990 (age 35 years) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He is the son of actor Mohanlal, and his mother is Suchitra Mohanlal. He has a younger sister, Vismaya Mohanlal. He completes his schooling at Hebron School, Ooty, Tamil Nadu. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He learned martial arts and is a trained Parkour. His Parkour moves were used in the action thriller movie Aadhi.
