Sunil Kumar, known by his stage name Narain (Narain Ram), is an Indian actor who has worked in the Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil film industries. He made his acting debut with the 2002 Malayalam movie Nizhalkuthu, which was directed, written, and co-produced by Adoor Gopalakrishnan. Then he appears in 4 the People (2004), Achuvinte Amma (2005), By the People (2005), Sheelabathi (2005), Classmates (2006), and Panthaya Kozhi (2007). He made his Telugu movie debut with the movie Yuvasena in 2004. In 2006, he made his Tamil debut with Mysskin’s movie Chithiram Pesuthadi.

He is well known for his roles in Pallikoodam (2007), Anjathe (2008), Minnaminnikoottam (2008), Robin Hood (2009), Mugamoodi (2012), Ayalum Njanum Thammil (2012), Kaithi (2019), Vikram (2022), Yugi (2022), 2018 (2023), and Queen Elizabeth (2023).

He was born on 07 October 1979 (age 46 years) to Ramakrishnan Nair and Shantha Kumari in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He did his pre-degree at St. Thomas College, Thrissur, and graduated from Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur, Kerala. He completed his diploma in cinematography at MGR Government Film and Television Institute, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. On 26 August 2007, he married Malayalam television host Manju Haridas. They have a daughter, Tanmaya, born in 2008, and a son, Omkar, born in 2022.
