Mugen Rao is a Malaysian singer and actor who works in the Malaysian and Tamil film industry. He made his acting debut with the Malaysian movie Ghora in 2018. He is the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3 in 2019. He made his Tamil movie debut with the movie Velan in 2021. He is sometimes known as MGR.
He was born on 23 October 1995 (age 30 years) to Prakash Rao and Nirmala Devi in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His siblings are Janany and Vignesh Rao. He graduated from Limkokwing University in Malaysia.
