Johny Antony is an Indian film director and actor who worked in the Malayalam film industry for about a decade. He began his film career as an assistant director and assisted around ten leading directors in Malayalam films. He made his directorial debut with the Malayalam comedy movie C.I.D. Moosa in 2003. He is well-known for his directorial films Kochi Rajavu (2005), Thuruppu Gulan (2006), Cycle (2008), Ee Pattanathil Bhootham (2009), Masters (2012), Thappana (2012), and Thoppil Joppan (2016). He made his acting debut with the Malayalam movie Shikkari Shambhu in 2018. He also appears in Drama (2018), Joseph (2018), Ganagandharvan (2019), Varane Avashyamund (2020), and Home (2021).
He was born on 16 July 1971 (age 54 years) to Antony and Lidia in Changanassery, Kerala, India. He studied at St John the Baptist HSS, Nedumkunnam, Kerala. He graduated from NSS College, Changanassery, Kerala. He married Shyni Antony. They have two daughters, Aswathi and Lakshmi.
