Babu Antony is an Indian-American martial artist and actor who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. He also worked in films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Sinhalese, Hindi, and English. He made his film acting debut with the Malayalam movie Chilambu in 1986, starring Rahman and Shobhana. He began his career playing antagonists before transitioning to supporting and leading roles. In 1987, he made his debut in Tamil with the movie Poovizhi Vasalile, starring Sathyaraj, and in Telugu with the movie Pasivadi Pranam.

He made his debut in Hindi with the movie Hatya in 1988. He is well known for his roles in Vaishali (1988), Aparahnam (1991), and Uppukandam Brothers (1993). He made his film debut in Kannada with the movie Shanti Kranti in 1991. Made in USA (2005) was his English film debut, and Leader (2009) was his Sinhala film debut. He owns a mixed martial arts academy in Houston.

He was born on 22 February 1966 (age 60 years) to T.J. Antony and Mariyam Antony in Ponkunnam, Kottayam, Kerala, India. He studied at St. Dominic’s H.S.S., Kanjirappally. He completed his MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. He married Evgeniya Antony, who is a Russian American. The couple has two sons, Arthur Antony and Alex Antony. He trains his sons in martial arts, and Arthur got his 1st Dan Black Belt in MMA.
