Sushant Singh is an Indian television presenter and actor primarily working in the Hindi film and television industry. He also appeared in a few Punjabi, Telugu, and Kannada films. He made his film acting debut with the 1998 Hindi film Satya. He won the IIFA Award and Zee Cine Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role for the Hindi movie Jungle (2000). He debuted in Punjabi with the movie Waris Shah: Ishq Daa Waaris in 2006. He further established his career in Hindi films by appearing in the movies Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar (2000) and The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002).

He made his debut in Telugu with the movie Dubai Seenu in 2007, starring Ravi Teja and Nayanthara. He hosted the popular crime show Savdhaan India on Life OK and STAR Bharat. He debuted in Kannada with the movie Pailwaan in 2019, starring Sudeepa and Aakanksha Singh. He also served as the Honorary Secretary of the Cine and Television Artists Association (CINTAA) until May 2020. He also appeared in the TV series City Of Dreams, A Simple Murder, Rana Naidu, The Freelancer, and IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack. He is also an author, having co-written the book Queens of Crime with Kulpreet Yadav.

He was born on 09 March 1972 (age 54 years) in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, India. He married actress Molina Singh.
