Shwetha Menon

Shwetha Menon is an Indian model, television anchor, beauty pageant titleholder, and actress who mainly works in the Malayalam and Hindi film industries. She also appeared in Telugu and Tamil films. She has won Femina Miss India Asia Pacific 1994. She made her film acting debut with the Malayalam movie Anaswaram in 1991, starring Mammootty. She made her debut in Telugu with the movie Desa Drohulu in 1995. She made her debut in Hindi with the movie Prithvi in 1997. She won two Kerala State Film Awards for Best Actress and two Filmfare Award South. She debuted in Tamil with the movie Snegithiye in 2000.

In 2018, Shwetha Menon participated in the Malayalam reality TV show Bigg Boss, hosted by veteran actor Mohanlal. She was eliminated after 36 episodes that aired on Asianet. She made appearances in parallel films, TV reality shows, and commercials all at the same time. Shwetha Menon was elected as president of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) in 2025 and became 1st woman president of AMMA.

She was born on 23 April 1974 (age 52 years) to Malayali parents T. V. Naranankutty, who is in the Indian Air Force, and Sarada Menon in Chandigarh, India. Her parents hail from Valanchery, Malappuram, Kerala. She studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Calicut, Kozhikode, Kerala. She married Bollywood model Bobby Bhonsle, but it ended in divorce. On 18 June 2011, she married Sreevalsan Menon, a native of Thrissur, who works in Mumbai. She has a daughter, whose delivery was recorded on camera as part of the film Kalimannu (2013).
