Vicky Kaushal

Vicky Kaushal is an Indian actor who mainly works in the Hindi entertainment industry. He won the National Film Award and Filmfare Awards. He has appeared in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list of 2019. He started his film career by assisting Anurag Kashyap in the Hindi movie Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), and he played minor roles in films. He debuted in a lead role in the Hindi movie Masaan in 2015, starring Richa Chadda, Shweta Tripathi, Pankaj Tripathi, and Rohit Saraf.

Vicky Kaushal won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his movie Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019). He is well known for his roles in Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016), Raazi (2018), Sanju (2018), Sardar Udham (2021), Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023), Sam Bahadur (2023), and Dunki (2023).

He was born on 16 May 1988 (age 38 years) to the director Sham Kaushal and Veena Kaushal in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His younger brother, Sunny Kaushal, is also an actor. He did his Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai, Maharashtra. He married actress Katrina Kaif on 09 December 2021.
