Richa Chadha is an Indian actress who works in the Hindi Film industry. She made her acting debut with the movie Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! in 2008. Her breakout performance was in the 2012 crime film Gangs of Wasseypur when she won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress for portraying the gangster’s belligerent and foul-mouthed wife. She is well known for her roles in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), Masaan (2015), Fukrey (2013), Fukrey Returns (2017), Section 375 (2019), Fukrey 3 (2023) and series Inside Edge (2017–2021).
She was born on 18 December 1986 (age 37 years) to Somesh Chadda and Kusum Chadda in Amritsar, Punjab, India. She did her schooling at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, New Delhi. she graduated from St Stephen’s College, Delhi. On 4 October 2022, she married Ali Fazal at a ceremony in Lucknow.
