Rima Kallingal is an Indian actress, dancer, and movie producer who mainly appears in Malayalam films. She made her Malayalam film debut with Ritu in 2009. In 2012, she acted in the movie 22 Female Kottayam became a big success. In this, she received praise and won many awards for her portrayal of Tessa. She performed on domestic and international venues while a member of the dance group Nritarutya.

She was born on 19 January 1984 in Ayyanthole, Thrissur, Kerala, India. She studied in Stanes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Coonoor up to Fifth grade. She completed her schooling at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Thrissur. She graduated with a bachelor’s in journalism from Bengaluru’s Christ University. She competed in the Vodafone Thakadhimi reality competition on Asianet. To pursue a modeling career, she relocated to Bengaluru. She later competed in the Miss Kerala beauty pageant, where she placed first runner-up. On November 1st, 2013, she wed director, Aashiq Abu.
