Manju Warrier

Manju Warrier is an Indian actress who works in Malayalam and Tamil film industries. She made her acting debut with the Malayalam movie Sakshyam in 1995 at the age of 17. She is well known for her roles in Thooval Kottaram (1996), Sallapam (1996), Ee Puzhayum Kadannu (1996), and Aaraam Thampuran (1997). She made her Tamil movie debut with Vetrimaaran’s movie Asuran opposite Dhanush in 2019.

She was born on 10 September 1978 (age 45 years) to a Malayali family in Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India. Her family is originally from Pullu, Thrissur, Kerala. Her father, T. V. Madhavan, worked as an accountant at Shakthi Finance’s Nagercoil regional office, and her mother, Girija. She has an elder brother, Madhu Wariar, who is an actor. She studied at CSI Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannur, Kerala, and Chovva Higher Secondary School, Kannur, Kerala. On 20 October 1998, she married actor Dileep at the Aluva Sri Krishna Temple. The couple have a daughter, Meenakshi. They filed for divorce in 2014 and it was granted in January 2015.
