Malavika Mohanan is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Tamil and Malayalam movies. She made her acting debut in the Malayalam film Pattam Pole in 2013. She received praise for her lead performance in the 2017 Hindi film Beyond the Clouds directed by Majid Majidi. Since then, she has been the leading lady in the Tamil action movies Master (2020) and Petta (2019), as well as the Malayalam thriller The Great Father (2017).
She was born on 04 August 1993 in Payyanur, Kerala, India, and grew up in Mumbai. She is the daughter of cinematographer K. U. Mohanan. She completed a degree in Mass Media at Wilson College, Mumbai.
