Madhoobala Raghunath Malini, also known as Madhoo (Madhoo Shah, Madhubala), is an Indian actress who works in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada entertainment industries. She made her film acting debut with the Tamil movie Azhagan in 1991, starring Mammootty. In the same year, she debuted in Hindi with the movie Phool Aur Kaante, starring Ajay Devgan, and in Malayalam with the movie Ottayal Pattalam. She made her debut in Telugu with the movie Allari Priyudu in 1992. She debuted in Kannada with the movie Annayya in 1993. She also appeared in the movies Roja (1992), Yoddha (1992), and Gentleman (1993).

She was born on 26 March 1969 (age 57 years) to Raghunath and Renuka in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She is the niece of actress Hema Malini and, therefore, the cousin of Esha Deol. She studied at St.Joseph’s High School, Juhu, Mumbai. She graduated from the University of Mumbai. She married Anand Shah on 19 February 1999. They have two daughters, Amaya and Keia.
