Kalyani Priyadarshan is an Indian actress who works in the Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam film industries. She started her career as an assistant production designer. She made her acting debut with the Telugu movie Hello in 2017, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. In 2019 she made her Tamil movie debut with the movie Hero. She came to the Malayalam film industry with the movie Varane Avashyamund in 2020. She also appears in Chitralahari (2019), Maanaadu (2021), Hridayam (2022), Thallumaala (2022) and Bro Daddy (2022). She won the SIIMA Award for Best Actress – Malayalam.
She was born on 05 April 1992 (age 32 years) to Priyadarshan, a filmmaker, and actress Lissy in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She has a brother, Siddharth Priyadarshan. She did her schooling at Lady Andal Venkatasubba Rao Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She completes her bachelor’s degree from Parsons School of Design, New York.
