Jiya Shankar is an Indian model and actress who works in the Telugu, Tamil, and Marathi film industries. She also appeared in a Hindi TV series. She made her film debut as an actress in the Telugu movie Entha Andanga Unnave in 2013. She is well known for her roles as Dr. Ira Pandey on &TV’s comedy drama series Meri Hanikarak Biwi and Susheela Ruhail Solanki on SAB TV’s comedy series Kaatelal & Sons. She debuted in Tamil with the movie Kanavu Variyam in 2017.

She has also appeared as a co-host of Good Night India on SAB TV. She debuted in Marathi with the movie Ved in 2022, starring Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh. She participated in Bigg Boss OTT 2 as a contestant. She also appeared in the Web series Virgin Bhasskar Season 2 in 2020 on Zee5.

She was born on 17 April 1995 (age 31 years) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her mother’s name is Surekha Gavli. Her parents divorced when she was 13.
