Gautami Kapoor is an Indian model and actress who primarily works in the Hindi film and television industries. She also appeared in a few Marathi films. She made her film acting debut with the Marathi movie Bindhast in 1999. She is well known in the role of Jaya in Kehta Hai Dil (2002) on Star Plus, the lead in TV drama Ghar Ek Mandir (2000–2002), and Parvarrish (2015) – Season 2 on Sony TV. She debuted in Hindi with the movie Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya in 2001. She also appeared in the TV series Special OPS (2020), Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story (2021), Gyaarah Gyaarah (2024), Special OPS season 2 (2025), and The Ba***ds of Bollywood (2025).

She was born on 21 June 1974 (age 51 years) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She completed her graduation. She married Madhur Shroff. The couple divorced. Then she married actor Ram Kapoor on 14 February 2003. They are parents to two children, Aks and Sia.
