Dhanya Mary Varghese is an Indian actress who works in the Malayalam film and television industries and a few Tamil films. She made her acting debut with the Malayalam movie Swapnam Kondu Thulabharam in 2003. She made her Tamil movie debut with the movie Thirudi in 2006. She has appeared on television shows such as Deivathinte Swantham Devootty (2012), Seetha Kalyanam (2014), and Bigg Boss Malayalam season 4 (2022). She also appears in Thalappavu (2008), Vairam: Fight For Justice (2009), Red Chillies (2009), Nayakan (2010), College Days (2010), Karayilekku Oru Kadal Dooram (2010), and Kaanekkaane (2021).

She was born on 17 September 1985 (age 40 years) to Varghese and Sheeba in Edayar, Koothattukulam, Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. She has a younger brother, Dixon Paul Varghese, a Station Master in Southern Railway. She studied at Little Flower Girls’ High School, Vadakara, St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Piravom, and M.K.M. Higher Secondary School, Piravom. She completed her Postgraduate studies at St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, Kerala. She married actor John Jacob on 9 January 2012 at Mateer Memorial Church, Trivandrum. The couple had a baby boy named Johan on 13 July 2013.
