Anjali is an Indian actress who works in the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam film industries. She made her acting debut with the Telugu movie Photo in 2006. She debuted in Tamil with the movie Kattradhu Thamizh in 2007, for which she won the Filmfare Awards South for Best Debut Actress. She debuted in Kannada with the movie Honganasu in 2008. She debuted in Malayalam with the movie Payyans in 2011.

She has won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress in Tamil two times for her performance in Angadi Theru (2010) and Engaeyum Eppothum (2011), and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award. She has received the Nandi Award for Best Actress for her performance in the Telugu horror-comedy movie Geethanjali (2014). Her well-known Telugu movies are Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013), Balupu (2013), Masala (2013), Geethanjali (2014), and Dictator (2016).

She was born on 16 June 1986 (age 39 years) to Eswar Siva Prakash and Parvathi Devi in Razole, Andhra Pradesh, India. She has two brothers and a sister. She did her schooling in Razole. She completed her Degree in mathematics in Chennai.
